My baby is 3 months old. I've had a hard time getting back in shape and still have about another 20 lbs to lose. My baby is "clingy" which makes hair and makeup almost impossible. I was visiting over at my mom's house and she told me that I need to do more about my appearance. She said in order to keep my man from wandering eyes, I should at least put on a little bit of mascara and lipstick before he comes home from work. It got me thinking, should I make sure I look "kept" for my man? I discussed this with a few other people. Some said this was sexist as hell. Others agreed. Now I'm all for hygiene so I'm definitely very clean, but even if I had the time for makeup, I wouldn't want to put it on just to keep my man around. What do you think?
