so i have been in a 3 year relationship and things are not their best.

my boyfriend and i started dating in 7th grade

we said i love you in the first hours of “dating”

and now sophomores in high school, we’ve been different

he has friends that tell me he’s cheated, and that i’m worthless *to my face* and he will never stick up for me

this year, he has been controlling my plans but will dip on me to hang with his friends.

he will call me selfish, rude, dramatic.

he is constantly and consistently rude to my friends and never makes an effort to get to know them

my friends call it a toxic relationship

i have almost broke up with him 5 times since october

just recently i told him i have been having doubts and i didn’t know what i wanted

and he told me he was sorry and that he’d change his ways

so this week he was more generous and more kind hearted

but on friday, things changed

i had a test in spanish that i needed to not be late for

and we normally meet up that period and i’m always running a few behind to that class

so when he was three minutes late, i had to leave

i ran basically because my class is on the other side of the school and i really didn’t want to be late.

he texted me the following as i’m running

so i was kinda pissed

because he told me he would try and he went back to his ways

he did mean it to be rude because i know how he acts

he doesn’t care that i run late to that class everyday

and he knows it too so i was pissed

after this i had precalc and while walking to precalc he walked with me

and told me how it was ridiculous how i didn’t see his side

i continuously tried to drop it

and he kept bringing it up

so in the middle of precalc he texts me

pulls this shit all the time where if i don’t hang he suddenly grounded

but i really couldn’t

i had a game that day until 6

and the next day practice from 8-10

so i had to get home, work on homework, shower and go to bed so i could be alright for practice.

honestly i would love to relax with him but i can’t sit around when i have to keep up with my grades and my sport.

after precalc ends he came upstairs to see me

and he asked again (2nd time) to ask if i could hang

after i just told him i couldn’t...

so i told him i couldn’t again

and he says “ok”

so i hug him say i love you and leave to my next class

i go downstairs to go to my chemistry class

and i feel a nudge on my shoulder

so i turned around

and he

followed me downstairs

to ask

could

hang out

after i just told him no. twice.

so i say no for the third time

and by the time the end of the day comes around i have a free period

and i’m sitting by my two friends and explain my situation

and they both want me to dump his ass

and just then i get another text

this is the fourth time he’s asked??? i’m not sure why the hell he was still asking

and then!!! he blows up. and i continue to ignore him until after practice

i get home, i fall asleep until 8:40

and these are the rest of the messages

so i just texted him i was okay because honestly i wanted to

and then

we texted back and forth

and eventually ended

and not even ten minutes later i sunk back in

and called him and made up

and now he’s being all sweet

so i’m stuck

my friend told me he’s just giving me what i want so i’ll stay

he’s serving himself on a silver platter instead of a paper plate

so he looks nicer but is the same
