How do you tell!?!

Question

First I want to say I’m a VERY PRIVATE PERSON! (Whom has anxiety/depression and try’s to please everyone but myself)
So how do you NICELY tell family your personal birthing wishes without them being upset.
1. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES do I want ANYONE taking photos of my baby or me
2. I don’t want a whole bunch of people at the hospital waiting or in the room
3. Let me birth how I want and don’t try and convince me to do things that I don’t want to do (I.e. epidural vs natural)

Well, you don't have to tell your family when you go into labor. You could just keep things under wraps until you're ready to share with them.
You can also have a discussion with your care team about your wishes, and they can help make sure that only the people you want to be there will be allowed access to you.
And finally, maybe this is your chance to take a risk and make a leap forward in learning how to stand up to your family. Once you have a baby they won't get any less pushy, and you'll have to priorities your child's needs over their wishes.

I’m a labor and delivery nurse I always tell my patients 1. Is your birthing experience and people need to respect that. 
2. Don’t let people know you had the baby until your ready to tell them.
3. Tell your family ahead of time about your wishes
4. Let the nurses be the bad people...trust me I have to be the mean nurse and it’s all for my patient!!!

The best way to not have people at the hospital is to not tell them you are going. I was upfront with family about “I really doubt I will want any visitors in the hospital. If I change my mind I will let you know.” My husband and I both have big families, so when I was ready for visitors at home I texted clear instructions for setting up a visit (if they want) and my expectations (wash your hands and no kissing baby). My MIL and others still tried to ignore my rules so I’d just repeat the rule as many times as I needed to to show I mean what I say.

Jst tell them u jst want u and ur partner? Or inform them after the birth and tell them they can only visit 1 at a time where I live u r not aloud people to come to the hospital and wait while u give birth they have set visiting hours and only 2 at a time and that’s if u there during visiting hours as if all goes well during birth u out after 6hours with my babies only my mum came to the hospital to visit after the babies were born then family 1 at a time at home then I let friends come after a week that was with my first after that I kinda relaxed a bit but it’s ur baby ur birth ur Choice jst tell them and if someone isn’t happy then they r not worth taking too!!!!!
