Baby sleeping through the night?

Hey guys do your babies sleep through the night ? Mine sleeps for 3 hrs and then wakes up every 1 1/2 to 2 hrs to feed. Any suggestions to make this less stressful. Btw he's breastfeed.

Does he sleep in the same room as you? My baby is exclusively breastfeeding also and she sleeps anywhere from 8 to 11 hrs straight and has been for several weeks now. It didn’t happen though until I moved her into the back room... she started sleeping 5 hrs then 7 and so on... I think what the real problem was is that I heard every little noise and thought she wanted to eat but in fact she wasn’t even awake but I’d get her up and feed her. She literally is only a thin wall and a few steps away (we live in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment) and I still hear her but I now know she makes noises in her sleep and if she really needs me she will let me know. Although, I normally now go get her when she’s awake but not fussing yet and we are all happier! 😊 Beware though, she kinda cluster feeds at bedtime for an hr or two before she’s good and asleep. I guess she’s storing up for the night. Lol

My 4 1/2 month old is breastfed and sleeps from 7p-7a. (Once in a while she wakes up once to eat). She sleeps in her own room, with a white noise machine and we make a point to put her to sleep when she is drowsy but awake. She is able to put herself back to sleep when she wakes up during her sleep cycles. I follow Taking Cara Babies on Instagram and I think that has given us tools to form good sleep habits on top of her just being a good sleeper.

My son has been giving me a longer stretch at first (usually 4-6 hours) but then gets up every 1-2 hours the rest of the night. I talked to my pediatrician yesterday at his four month appointment and she recommended that I start working toward soothing him at night without feeding. I haven’t tried it yet but that’s what I’m about to start doing. She said he doesn’t need to eat at night but is just eating because he’s figured out he can and so he nurses for comfort.

Ivy sleeps through... the only thing I have done is always it her in her bed awake so she has learnt to get herself to sleep, I never let her nap past 6pm and that’s it x

My daughter slept through the night from 6wks to about 12wks then she had a lovelyyyy phase like that of lots of waking up. This week she's sleeping better than ever because 1 thing... A box fan! Nothing helped before. Last night she slept 8 SOLID hours.

I kno alot of ppl will say this doesnt help...but my little guy was th same n I fed him rice cereal (jus a tsp mixed with breastmilk) n he slept 7 hours straight!!!! First time ever!!

Do let him have as many naps before his bedtime like if you want him to sleep at 9 or 10 let his last nap he at 6 the so if he wakes up at 7 or 8 his up for another hour or two  and then just keep a night light on or just keep all the lights  of. So that way he doesnt wake up as often  because  he still might ve confusing his nights with the day
