The nuvaring & acne?

I have acne prone skin, but my skin Used to be clear until I get my period than I will break out a lot and than go away after my period but I think my nuvaring is causing my skin to break out, I was wondering why I was breaking out because I haven’t wore makeup for a bit, and I always make sure to wash my brushes and beauty blenders because of my acne prone skin. And I will wash my face and use a face scrub 2-3 a week. I totally forgot acne is a symptom of nuvaring, I think it might be causing it? Anyone else having this problem with the nuvaring?
