During labour - what to expect: bleeding?

Question

A midwife friend of mine told me that you bleed during labour (not just during pushing). 
So... 
1) did you bleed during labour (early and/or active)? 
2) did you wear pads during labour?

I didn’t bleed during labor, only after pushing and then postpartum. For postpartum I used Depends. They were a God-send! Lol

I didn’t bleed during labor... after baby comes out you typically start to bleed. I always bring extra long, winged pads and big undies. The first few days seem to be a lot more blood and then you’ll slow down until it stops. Usually takes a few weeks.

I only recall seeing a bit of bloody show during my first labor, but otherwise I don’t think I saw much of any blood.

I bled through labor. I went to hospital at 10am one day with my son for bleeding. Got sent home.  Went back at 6 PM same day, still bleeding but actively contracting at that point.  Had him 1159 am the next morning. Bled whole time.

No bleeding during labour. I think I had some kind of pad on the first time cause my water was leaking everywhere lol

I bled only after a very rough cervical check during labor, but otherwise not until after birth

Once I was dilated to 7 I started bleeding. But like previous post said, you won't want underwear on. You'll be on absorbant pads.
