Being a parent is the scariest thing. Staying positive

Back in December I noticed my son had a small lump in his abdomen. His doctor suggested at first glance that it's a lymph node. Although it hasn't grown in size at all, it is still there. He had an ultrasound done a couple weeks ago and there was no clarification as to what it is..his doctor said it's not a cyst but still doesn't know if it's a lymph node or what it is. It doesn't seem to bother him. He giggles if I run my fingers over it. His doctor has referred him to a pediatric surgeon to decide if a biopsy needs to be done. That appt is next month (he will be 9 months old)

I'm trying to remain optimistic but of course I'm scared and worried!

Has anyone experienced this themselves or with their little ones?
