My husband & I have been trying for 2 years. March 19, 2018 I miscarried at 17 weeks with a little girl.

We didn’t really try for about 4 months after that ( but we didn’t use protection either )

We finally decided after consecutively trying again for a few months to go see a fertility specialist. As many of you know the work ups are long & over baring.

I did injections, trigger & did our 1st <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>.

My husbands sperm count kept coming back low, a little bit higher, really low, etc.

So after the first failed <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>, our doctor said that there was a very slim chance of us conceiving because my husbands sperm count being so low. They sent us to see a urologist.

All of his tests came back good, except for when the doctor felt his balls.

They sent him to do a ultrasound to confirm that he has varicocele which is an enlargement of the veins within the scrotum.

He has surgery May 28th to get it fixed.

The doctor told us that there is a 75 percent chance that it will work & when his levels get to a good standing after surgery...

we can do <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> again.

My question for is for those who have went thru a similar situation ...

did the varicocele surgery actually fix it?

How long after did you get pregnant?

How long did it take his numbers to get back where they need to be or expected to be?

Did anybody do <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> following if the numbers were appropriate? & did it work.

Please ladies, I need some positivity.
