Too close?

We’re planning our baby shower for June 30th, which is just 25 days before my anticipated due date with my second baby. Do you ladies think that’s cutting it too close?! TIA!

Mine is on June 8th and I’m due July 14th. I’m only worried that we are waiting until afterwards to but anymore baby items. Depending on why we do/ don’t get from registry it will be last minute shopping.

The only problem I would see is you being too uncomfortable and not enjoy yourself being it’s so close to the end.

I don't know if I'll even make it to my shower. I already have a 5yo daughter  (from previous relationship) who was born a week early and my family only does showers for the first born. This will be my husband's first biological child, it's a boy,  so his family will be hosting a shower. I've been told by my MIL that the shower won't be held until the end of June (no date actually given) knowing my due date is July 3rd.  😐

June 2nd shower for July 19th baby. To me it feels close but my doc said it was fine. I was just hoping not to be big as a whale (or at least feel like a whale haha)

With my son my last baby shower (I had 4) was only 2 weeks before my due date. I was huge, but it was fine.

Mine is May 26th and due July 4th, so only slightly earlier than for you. It was just the date that worked for certain family members that we had to accommodate. There's too many birthdays and weddings in April/May unfortunately. I think, especially if it's your first, you'll be ok as they're more likely to come a few days late vs. early unless you have complications. Just be prepared to get what you need a week or so after your shower if there are any essentials missing. A lot of what we put on our registries are not immediately essential though!

With my daughter (my second pregnancy) I had my baby shower on March 7th and had her march 25th I was fine but was exhausted by the end of it.

We are also doing baby shower 25 days before my due date! I have all the absolute necessities though so that puts me at ease a bit.

Mines on the 30th June too and I’m due the 26th July. It was literally the only date that everyone could do. I thought it was cutting it a little fine too, but as long as little one isn’t mega early that it’s all good. 😃 x
