Time between period and ovulation getting longer

My husband and I have been trying for 14 cycles and I’ve used OPKs since the start. Right after coming off birth control I still had 28 day cycles with ovulation on CD14 for 2 cycles. Then the length from my period to ovulation slowly started increasing to CD21 and about a 33 day cycle. I got pregnant in August but I ended up miscarrying.

My last 4 cycles I’m ovulating around CD28 and I have NO CLUE why for a total cycle around 6 weeks. My diet hasn’t changed, I’ve been eating healthier and losing weight purposefully since the miscarriage. My fertility doctor hasn’t really said anything about it being a concern for her. She put me on metformin (I’m not diabetic) but that only lasted 3 weeks during February because I couldn’t tolerate the side effects.

Does anyone have any insight? It’s so frustrating for it to keep getting longer and longer for no apparent reason and only increases the time between trying.
