How soon can you find out the sex of your baby? I have my next ultrasound at 13w 5d. I know it’s early but is it possible? The first one at 9 weeks was transvaginal.

Everything looks the same until at earliest 15 weeks. And even then the Drs are wrong at least 30% of the time at that gestation (so Drs usually won't even tell you their guess without you signing a form acknowledging that it's too early to be sure) unless it's much closer to 20 weeks. If you really want to know at this point you can pay (out of pocket) to have your blood tested- it's 99% accurate at or after 10 weeks.

If available, u can get a cell-free prenatal DNA test & know the sex as early as 10 weeks. The test is primarily to screen for chromosomal abnormalities but can also find out sex of baby.

i found out @ 13 Weeks 4 Days @ My Ob's Office. It then got confirmed on A genetic tes & on my anatomy scan :)
