Pregnancy and PCOS

Alexis 👼🏻👼🏻 & 🤰🏻🌈

I found out I had PCOS when I was around 21 not sure if it’s something that develops over time/ randomly.

I started on metformin and BC , without it I would not get a period. Then I started slacking on medications , I would go months without a period, at one point I went even a year with no period no concerns again not taking it seriously. I didn’t really take it serious until I hit around 25.

Last year I was told to cut down on dairy and possibly think about weight loss. With a change of heart and lifestyle I dropped about 42lbs total since last April and starting menstruating normally since. I became pregnant in January! never even thinking I could get pregnant was the happiest day of my life knowing My body was even able to reproduce.

Unfortunately I did miscarry on March 13 👼🏻 and still picking up the pieces with my boyfriend today. We will be trying after this menstrual cycle is over but to know I can get pregnant to me is a blessing on its own

Summary being don’t give up hope if you have PCOS just make a few lifestyle changes and everything else will fall into place ! ❤️ The best medication is grown on this earth🌶🌽🍅 aside what doctors may tell us.
