At 41+3 I thought baby would never come. I slept through early labor and woke up to full blown active labor at midnight. At 7:05 am baby girl was born!

I had a membrane sweep on Monday and my midwife did acupuncture on Tuesday and both of those sure kick started labor.

I made it to 8 cm with just gas and air and then got an epidural. It ended up only half working, but it let me rest for a little bit before my water broke and I was able to push baby girl into the world while standing.

She’s my biggest baby at 3600g and 50cm. And I had absolutely no tearing or anything because the midwives let me push when and how I felt like.

Definitely my favorite birth experience out of all 3!!! 🥰😍
