Baby and toddler shared rooms?

I’m torn with putting baby in our room for a year or have my toddler share with baby. Anyone’s toddler and baby share rooms? Show me inspiration!!

We will have to do this too. We plan to keep baby in our room until she sleeps through the night so that our 3 yo will get the sleep she needs. It’s one thing for parents to be sleepy. We know how to deal. Toddlers don’t.

I would keep the newborn in my room until a year old then transition. My toddler needs her sleep uninterrupted.

I had no choice but to have our boys share a room because we moved and we could only afford a two bedroom here, my youngest had just turned a year and he still wasn’t sleeping through the night but my oldest is a champ of a sleeper so when my youngest would wake up I’d give him some water and he’d go right back to bed and my oldest never woke up. Now he sleeps through the night and everything is great!

I’d prioritize my toddlers sleep over my own given that newborns do not sleep through the night. Keep your baby with you until they’re sleeping through the night.

I have 4 kids, 2 boys 21 months apart  then 2 girls also 21 months apart. We kept baby in our room until they were either sleeping mostly through the night or ready for sleep training, so around 7 or 8 months we did the transition. It really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
