Water?

I’m worried my little guy might have drank too much water he stole my husbands cup for a few seconds and then dropped it so idk how much he drank. He spit a little up. What do your drs say about water intake? Mine says as much as he wants, everything I find online differs

2-4oz is the recommended daily limit, so if he only had it for a few seconds then he's probably okay. Just keep an eye on him and don't let him have any more water for the day, just in case. But I'm sure he'll be just fine! :)

The only reason they tell you to limit water is so it doesn’t interfere with the amount of formula they consume. It isn’t a health hazard unless it happens everyday 😊

Asked my pediatrician today and they said no limits on water.

If he only had it for seconds I don’t think he ingested much if anything. I’m sure most spilt. Water if fine over 6 month. Babies can’t gulp water like children and adults can. He would probably just start coughing. Don’t worry mama! He will be fine💙

My LO is 8 months Sunday and loves his water. He only gets it at meal time though. But he chugs it lol

My son loves water. The way he goes on it you'd think he hasn't had anything to drink for months lol. Your baby will be fine dont worry. I give my son water with every meal time.
