So basically I've had my period for about a year now been using pads but no matter what I always leak do you have any tips?

I've tried a tampon once and had it in for an hour before I realised I had leaked through at school ( it was a MESS)

And I was wondering whether I should start using tampons but I wasn't sure what absorbency I needed to get without having to worry it will leak after an hour

And btw when I did try a tampon it was just a normal regular tampon
