In regards to nap time, do you have baby sleep a set amount of minutes and then wake baby up?

I allow my 8 moth old to sleep as long as she needs. The only time i will wake her up is if her afternoon nap is Long and she is  still sleeping at 6:30. When this happens (not often) I will wake up her up and we will go through her normal bedtime routine at 7.

Hahaha I can’t imagine a world where my kid slept enough for me to wake him up. Soooo nope. 😬 the whole “never let them nap over two hours” thing is such a foreign concept to me.

Never let her have more than 2 hours or go past 4:30 - otherwise she won’t go down at bed time.

Yes, an hour in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon.

Mine sleeps 1.5 hours in the morning and 1 hr in the afternoon. I’ve found if she sleeps longer then 2.5 hours she will not settle to go back to sleep In the middle of the night.
Sometimes she will sleep less for each nap

I actually have a set minimum 😆 if he wakes up before a certain time I put him back to sleep or else he will be cranky later. I don’t like him going past 2 hours but he never does. He wakes up before or around 2 hours on his own.
