Unknown bump on my mons pubis

So I want to say about a week ago or so I notice this bump on my vaginas mons pubis and at first I thought it was a ingrown hair but now I’m starting to think it is something else due to the pain it causes. Would anyone know by any chance what this and if so any home remedies or medicine/ointment I could use ?
