Do you think it’s cruel to sedate a dog for a trip
I’m just in a discussion with my friend right now getting ready for my big move that’s about a 18 hour drive. My dog has severe anxiety while in a vehicle and after many things our vet and myself decided the best thing would be a sedative since now it is putting my son in harms way as she’s jumping all over and even getting into his car seat. But my friend is saying it’s cruel and we should just deal with it because we wouldn’t sedate our son. So what do y’all think? Smart or cruel?
