How much blood is too much?

I just had my 39 week appointment and they checked my cervix and now I’m bleeding. It’s still light pink, but it’s still scary for me (I’ve had to miscarriages.) I’m either having some Braxton Hicks contractions or cramping or something. Should I call the nurse line or is this normal? I didn’t have this with my son who is almost 3!

I spotted a bunch of light pink for almost 24 hours after one of my cervix checks (none of the others) then it turned brown for a few hours, then stopped. My baby is 21 days old and fine. The cervix can bleed easily at the end of pregnancy.

This is totally normal. You should still keep track of baby’s movements and listen to your body, and take it easy!

I think Pink should be okay... It's when it's bright red then you should be concerned. They usually expect you to spot after a cervix check.
