How do you sleep during first trimester?

Before your baby and fluid are bigger and heavier, generally around 15-20 weeks, you can sleep however you want. Stomach sleepers can keep doing that until it gets uncomfortable, as baby is nice and cushioned, you don’t really need to worry about squishing it especially early on. Sleeping on either side is fine throughout pregnancy. It’s the back sleeping you want to watch out for - once your baby and fluid are sort of heavy, they can put weight on an important vein in your back which can restrict blood flow for you and for baby. Most people who end up on their backs after it isn’t safe will start to feel a little light headed or sick before it becomes a major problem, and your body will usually reposition itself without you really even needing to think about it. 
I was a total back sleeper my last pregnancy and I found the U-shaped pregnancy pillow to be very useful, since even if you end up on your back with the pillow it kind of props you up on your side anyway.

I literally toss and turn all night lol. All of them get a turn at some point.

I accidentally put back, but I sleep half on my right side and half on my stomach.. it’s a weird position but comfy! Lol

I have never been able to sleep on my stomach without killing my neck. I sleep on my back and both sides though lol

I start on my left side every night, but wake up on my back. I’ve always been a back sleeper. I remember with my first pregnancy my body told me at some point to roll over. I’m not there yet, so I’m enjoying the good rest while I can. Once I get bigger, sleep on my sides until they go numb, and have to take more than 1 trip to the bathroom, I won’t get any restful sleep anymore!

I mostly sleep on my left side. But if I'm exhausted or my back hurts, I'll sleep on my back. If I can't fall asleep, I'll lay on my stomach. And if I want to watch my husband sleep, I lay on my right side.
