My NIPT came back normal, no chromosomal issues

NT scan didn’t show any signs of downs

But my first tri screening bloodwork came back with a high risk for downs (she doesn’t have the ratio for reference)

I just had my OB appt. She thinks it’s a false

Positive, which she explained to me is normal with this bloodwork. She said that since my NIPT/harmony test results came back normal, she’s not concerned. I could do an amnio, but with the miscarriage risk she doesn’t think it’s necessary. She also measured the femur bone today, which is a downs indicator, and baby is measuring right on.

I need to do a scan of the babies heart, which I can’t do for several weeks (I’m 17 weeks today, they don’t do the scans until 23 week).

I’m freaking out. With everything coming back normal expect the bloodwork that is known for false positives I know I shouldn’t be too concerns, but it’s hard not to be freaked out!!!
