My baby just turned 6 months old and we have transitioned him over to formula. He has only had formula now for 2 days. Today he keeps acting like he's hungry but cries and arches his back or turns his head away when trying to feed him. We haven't had any problems with the formula or bottles until all of a sudden today.

Is it gas, maybe? He has been burping and passing gas so it seems like that shouldn't be the issue. He hasn't pooped yet today and he was pooping every day before this (usually in the morning and sometimes twice in a day).

Not sure what to do because he's only had about 8 oz total today and he's been awake for 6 hours🤷🏼‍♀️
