Mucus plug/bloody show

I am pretty sure yesterday before my appointment I lost a huge chunk of my mucus plug and last night before bed again with a little blood and this morning was a lot more with a lot more blood I have seen people's post and pictures and I am 100% it was mucus plug my question is since I lost this much this fast is labor closer than a week? I am feeling contractions today on and off not regular.
