My doctor says it’ll take a while for me to test negative for it after treatment, but he never specified. Does anyone know how long it takes to clear up? I’m really worried. I just found out today and it’s all I’ve been thinking about.

It does clear up in 1 week, but you must go back 3 months to be retested to make aure it cleared. We have tons of patients lately positive for this. Just make sure your partner is treated as well.

don't be too upset; it's one of the most common STDs, just make sure to practice safe sex in the future, and notify whoever you were sleeping with.
