I used to be classmates with this guy who was a new student in my chem last year. This year after the year is literally almost over he comes up to me and asks me if he can have my number again (we exchanged numbers to do projects last year) I was like ok sure and I find it odd cause typically I don’t talk to my classmates after the year has been over

He’s asked me to hang out a couple of times, I said ok to some of them but our conversations are so goddamn awkward cause all he talks about is traveling and cars and I don’t talk about anything except for anime and books.

I asked him why he’s talking to me and he says that it’s cause I was nice to him and at his old school he was hated by everyone and over the course of this year he wants to talk to people more and I was always on the back of his mind
