Switching from a hypoallergenic formula to a milk based
My baby girl is a month old today. I was originally breastfeeding (mainly pumping and bottle feeding) but stopped and switched to formula. I went through about 6 different formulas with her. I thought she had a milk allergy because every milk based formula seemed to make her very fussy, very gassy, made her draw her legs up to her chest and scream in pain. I even tried using Gerber good start soothe HMO because my mom used the formula on my sister who was born with cystic fibrosis. And it seemed to do the same thing. I then switched her to Gerber extensive HA formula and shes gotten a tiny bit better but still same issues just not as bad. I was wanting to try
To switch her back to Gerber soothe thinking maybe it was just typical newborn behavior and her adjusting to this ‘new’ environment and building up her digestive system. Now that she’s a month old, is there a best/recommended way to go about switching her formula again without upsetting her stomach?
