So has anyone taken Tylenol Cold & Sinus while pregnant? This book is from the doctor and it says I can take it - however the pharmacist suggested I shouldn’t take it .. any opinions? My allergies are killing me!! 🤧

It’s so weird how so many different doctors have differing opinions. My doctors pamphlet says Tylenol cold and sinus is okay, but I couldn’t find any locally. I was dying so I bought Tylenol sinus + headache which is a different drug and worried that it would be bad for the baby but I went to the doctor today and asked and she said it was totally fine!! She also recommended Benadryl if I don’t want to take the Tylenol.

I have the worst cold when I first found out I was pregnant I took the regular dose but I only did it one time a day and I only did it if I absolutely needed it I tried to self soothe with tea and other things but I think that in moderation it's okay

Interesting!! I wonder if ingredients and guidelines differ country to country. I’m in Oz and was told no Zyrtec or claratyne! I was told I could use Polaramine (Dexchlorpheniramine) instead.

The pharmacist told me that I couldn’t take any cold medicine the other day when I asked because I was miserable. Benadryl is safe and so is Tylenol, but no decongestants.

Doctor told me not to take that specific one. Regular Tylenol can take 2 every few hours. And then sinus rinses a few times a day. 
I still do sinus rinses for post nasal drip and it helps a ton. Otherwise I’m coughing stuff up in the morning.
