Seasonal periods!
I’m 33 and got my very first period on my 14th birthday and then didn’t bleed for 5 months. Welcome to my ovaries! I’ve had PCOS since then and sprouted my first chin hair when I was 21(when I was first diagnosed). Now I have a lovely collection.
I have yet to get health insurance 🙄 but I’ve actually been keeping track of my cycles and they’re somewhat regular. Meaning, they come every three months. Yep, seasonal, quarterly periods! And I celebrate them like they’re holidays. If they’re spread out this long would I still ovulate the two weeks before? Or do I have an extra long luteal phase? I’ll get bad insomnia maybe a month before period then the week before I’ll get so much sleep but never feel like I got enough.
To get to the point.... does this mean I’m dropping four eggs a year? And if I am, at what point in my cycle is it?? (Ovulation)
I know the best advice.. get that health insurance and go see a doctor!
