My baby has had cradle cap in the same one spot since he was born. He is now almost 5 months old. The paediatrics said they it was cradle cap and nothing to worry about, but he has had it for so long! It does not go away when washed. Thoughts? Thank you

When our daughter had it, we used the Honest Company body oil and used the soft scrubby cradle cap brush to brush it all off. It went away after a couple times we did it.

My mom SWEARS by original Dawn dish soap (yes, she says “Dawn dish soap” every time 😂) used with one of those little baby head scrubber sponges. Just a couple drops and a massage with one of those once a day until it’s gone, then as needed! I haven’t had a baby of my own yet, let alone one with cradle cap, but my mom is usually right about these kinds of things and it definitely helped one of the little guys I used to nanny ☺️

Your doctor is right, it’s nothing to worry about. Cradle doesn’t mean only brand newborns have it.
