Our culture and schools always tell us “even if you miss one pill - pull out a little too late - or break a condom once - you WILL get pregnant!!” And get here us girls are, having unprotected sex for MONTHS on end and not getting pregnant.

I know that when I got off my birth control pills, I was expecting to get pregnant pretty much right away. I was so used to people telling me how easily I could accidentally get pregnant if I wasn’t careful - so I figured it should be easy if you’re trying to.. right?

Because of this mindset.. it makes me (and other women I’m sure) feel like failures when we don’t get pregnant in the first few months of no protection. Does anyone else feel me on this??
