Does anyone else think it’s strange that we have to wait so long for our first appointment?

I wish there was a way doctors could check on your pregnancy every 2 weeks in the first trimester.

The only thing that is confirming this pregnancy was a very faint positive at Kaiser. No blood work.

I would hate to get the first appointment and find out there is no baby or I’m about to miscarriage.

I guess what I am trying to say is that 2 months is a long time to think you’re pregnant and to not be checked on.

Kaiser offers a phone appointment first then an ultrasound at 8-10 weeks.

Last time I was disappointed because I went 8 weeks thinking I was pregnant only to know my baby stopped growing at 6 weeks.

Don’t want to get my hopes up again.
