How many oz?

How many oz are formula fed babies having. My baby is 3 weeks and hes having 5oz nearly every 3 hrs :/ is that alot?!

My daughter drinks just about the same, sometimes more!!! Unless they are making themselves spit up, then baby will drink until they’re full I guess

We have been told by our feeding coordinator to do 150ml per kilo body weight total milk per day.
If feeding every 3 hours, that's 8 feeds per day so divide that number by 8 to get the amount per feed 
My baby is 3.6kg so he needs 540ml per day, 68ml per feed if feeding every three hours.

My baby is 5 weeks old and eating 3-3.5 oz every 2-3 hours... I think it depends on their weight. He's only 8 lbs 8 oz. I've tried feeding more and he just spits it up.

My boy is 4 weeks 5 days and he eats 4oz every 4-5 hours. There are times he eats around 3 1/2 hours because he gets upset and starts showing he’s hungry.

I was always told babies don’t ever need more than 4oz for at least the first 4 months. Maybe look into paced bottle feeding. 
As stated above. They don’t know when they’re full.

I burp him a few times during the feed but he continues to seek out the milk by moving his head towards anything with his mouth open and his head bobbing! He isnt spitting up either nor being sick!

Is he spitting up a lot?  
My baby just turned five weeks old.   Once she ate 7.5oz in a sitting!  I mentioned this to her doctor and his eyes got really wide.  Turns out I was giving her way too much.    
Babies around this age usually just need about 4oz.   Their stomachs are about the size of their fist, so even if you look at a the volume of 4oz of formula, it's a wonder how it all fits in there.  Also, just like for us, it takes about half an hour for their little tummies to tell their brain that they're full.  
Be sure you are burping every 2oz or so.  Not only does this help with spitting up but it also gives your baby more time to realize that they're full.

Yeah...  my almost 6 week old is taking 4 Oz every 3 hrs. But every baby is different 🤷🏼‍♀️
