I went to the eye doctor for the first time and found out I need glasses which I’m not surprised about.( I’ve been having trouble seeing for a while now). Since I’m nearsighted and have astigmatism I’ll have to wear glasses all the time. I’m very self conscious about how I’m going to look when I get my glasses. My husband has glasses but usually wears contacts and he said when I get my glasses he’ll wear his the first few days to help me feel better but I’m still worried about how I’ll look. Any tips about how to be less self conscious?

My left eye is 20/40 with -1.00 astigmatism and my right eye is 20/50 with -1.25 astigmatism)
