what is everyones take on the Rock n Play sleeper

I got one for my shower. I'm still going to use it but never unsupervised or for overnight sleep. My sister in law used it for all 4 of her babies and made a good point, she said she used so many items for her kids that have been recalled now. Things get recalled all the time. Theres also things out there like infant inserts for carseats, etc that you aren't supposed to use that people still do. If my baby likes it then I will use it.

Still planning to use. It’s great for when you want to be somewhat mobile with the baby but still have eyes on them. I see a lot people saying they’ll stick with the pack n play but I can’t take that into my bathroom or easily into different rooms in my house. Everyone I know says they work wonders so I’ll be sure to use it properly!

I won’t lie, those thing work wonders for babies! They love them, my best friend used one for her daughter and it was perfect. 
However, after finding out they are only safe to use for 3 months, I’d rather spend the money on something else. 
Also, I don’t want my little girl getting comfortable and used to using it and then having to take it away. I’d rather get something she can use longer.

I refused to use one even before they were recalled because I had heard so many horrible stories about them 
Other People thought I was crazy because they “loved them”, and now with the recall some say they understand while others still say it’s silly to not want to at least try it

Not gonna buy something I can’t use overnight and for only 3 months... like someone said don’t want baby getting used to it and then taking it away and trying to get him used to something else to nap in... so I’m going to stick to our bassinet, pack and play, and then transition to a crib at 6 months like I did with my first. I thought it was for sleeping overnight and was interested until all this came out and it’s not for that so just gonna save my money for something else and if we somehow got one for a gift I’d exchange it.

I was going to use mine for overnight but I’m just a worrier so I ended up returning mine and we will be using a pack n play instead
