I'm due the 21st with my 2nd baby. My midwife couldn't find the head so she did and internal check and noticed my cervix is short and a few cm dilated. I know it's common to be dilated for a bit before delivering but has anyone experienced it meaning their babe comes a bit early? My first baby was a few days before her edd so I've been planning on this baby coming before his edd. But my last day at work is May 10 and now I'm wondering if that isn't soon enough for me to have a few days to rest before I deliver. I would love to hear experiences/thoughts.
