Can my cousin just stopi
My cousin has been crossing lines with me and my husband for a long time now.
I first noticed it on her 21st birthday, when I found her sitting with her head on my husband's shoulder and she hugged him goodbye three times that night.
I started noticing at family events, she'd find any reason to sit near him or talk to him about mundane and stupid things. Keep in mine my husband is nine years older than her, and he is a clown and never noticed anything until this next thing.
We were at my mother's birthday, and my cousin came up to us, said she lost her phone and asked for my husband's number. And then walked away, without asking for mine. Which I thought was a big hell no, but it was my moms birthday so didn't want to say anything.
Then later, I had to take my sister and her boyfriend home. I had been sitting on a two seater couch with my other sister and my husband. I got up, went to the car then came back in becsuse I had left my licence inside. In the two minutes I was outside, she had gone and squeezed herself next to my husband.
That's when I explained to my husband that he needs to open his damn eyes and stop entertaining her.
I thought this was over and done with, but then I for some reason was not invited to her birthday party last year (my other sisters were) and then, when we found out the concert we were suppose to go to last month was cancelled (not together, we just happened to be going to the same concert), she messaged my husband only to say how much it sucked.
At the last family event a couple of weeks ago, I noticed again how she sat on the seat next to him.
I don't want to bring it up with her, but I think I just might have to. I cannot put up with this anymore, neither can we decline so many family invitations. This has been going on for years now.
