Is this a normal behavior for men? I was in the car with my boyfriend of 5 years this morning and everything was going fine. It’s a beautiful day and we had amazing sex that morning and were treating ourselves to some donuts. On the way home a song came on the radio that I like and he doesn’t. He turned the channel to a station that was playing commercials so I changed it back to the other channel and I asked if we can please listen to this song? (He has expressed before he doesn’t like this song) then out of no where he gets really mad and yells and punches his steering wheel super hard because I changed the song. I looked at him and told him to calm down and I saw him realize what just happened and said he was only joking. (he does this a lot when I tell him he needs to calm down) I know he wasn’t joking and he admitted later he was angry and annoyed. He is not a violent person and has never ever hurt me and says he never would but he has these outbursts and they scare me... I can’t tell if I’m making a big deal out of nothing or if it’s something I should worry about.
