Early ovulation with letrozole?

Ok I took Femara 5 mg CD2-6 (first cycle!) and have been on metformin 1000 mg twice daily for past 4 months. Anyway, got a strong positive opk this AM (CD8). Is this real or just from the medication? Usually get positive opk on CD9-11. Thanks for your input ladies!

I ovulated earlier than normal too

I ovulated cd10 on letrozole cd3-7 so it’s possible.

I also took Femara 2,5 mg from day 5-9. I had ovulation cramps on day 9 even today on day 10.
