Nipple piercings?

Anyone else have their nipples pierced? If so, are you planning to remove your piercings? Or leave them in??

I had mine pierced before my first Pregnancy, & removed it at around 30 weeks. I breastfed fine, & my son actually preferred the nipple I had pierced 🤷🏼‍♀️😂. 
I was silly & had it redone about a year ago, & I’m notw 18 weeks. I’ll be taking mine out around the same time again, & I doubt I’ll be getting it redone this time! 😂😂
If your not planning to breastfeed, there’s no need to remove it though 😊

I have mine pierced it slipped my mind to ask my OB when I should take them out and if it would be okay to take them out now. I want to take them out because I plan on breastfeeding but I also heard that if they heal up it can make scarred tissue blocking milk ducts, so I’m at a loss until next appt.

I had mine pierced before my first and my little one absolutely refused to nurse on that side. Milk will come out the piercing holes (I noticed while pumping) so maybe he wasn't a fan of that 🤷‍♀️

I took mine out around 6 weeks because they hurt. My breasts were so sore, I couldn’t stand them lol.
