Can I get pregnant with a 42 day cycle?

Hello ladies I need some help! I recently went to the doctor for my annual, her and I talked about how it has been a year of TTC but nothing has happened! When I was first diagnosed with PCOS I was told as long as I was having a cycle within 90 days I have a chance of getting pregnant. In March on 2018 my husband and I decided to stop using birth control and really start trying! Anyways when I was at my appointment the other day she told me my chances were very slim because my cycle is still 42 days. She told me I need to be anywhere from 21 to 35 days for a healthy pregnancy.
