Feeling defeated...
I am looking for some support and encouragement from those who have been there. I had an early miscarriage at 6/7 weeks in October 2018. We found out that it was likely due to a genetic abnormality (Robertsonian Translocation) that my husband has. This leads to an increased risk of miscarriage (33%) and Down syndrome (1%) in any of our future pregnancies. It also can cause some fertilized embryos with genetic abnormalities to fail to implant in the first place. (You can see my previous post for more details, if you're interested.)
We've been trying for 6 months and still haven't gotten another BFP. We've been BDing plenty during our fertile time, I've been doing bbt and OPKs for the last 2 months, and still BFNs!!! I'm starting to really become discouraged. I have heard that many women are considered "more fertile" in the 3ish months following a miscarriage, so I feel especially crappy that we have yet to conceive again after 6 months!
Any tips for staying positive? Anyone else out there successfully conceive their rainbow baby after trying more than 6 months?
