C-section pants & pads tips?

So I have my C-section in 4 weeks and was wondering if anyone who had had one can advise on the best sort of pants and maternity pads or pants to get for after? 
I’m imagine giant granny pants sort?

I know most women prefer loose pants after C-sections but I was more comfortable in leggings and my maternity jeans. As for pads I got generic super extra long overnight pads

I didn't even wear pants for like 3 weeks. Anything touching my incision was really painful. I wore nightgowns 95% of the time. When I did wear pants I wore light and loose fitted sweatpants. As for pads I started off with Depends when I got home from the hospital then I switched to those mesh panties and the maternity pads from the hospital. I highly recommend stocking up on those before leaving. Once my bleeding lessened I switched back to the pads I used for my period.

First week after I used the pads from the hospital they gave me a whole bunch and the underwear they gave me. Once the bleeding slowed down I got bigger underwear and just used super pads. And I was wearing leggings it wasn't too uncomfortable.

I wore boyshorts for underwear and yogas for pants.  The foldover waist it's nice and comfy.

I actually didn't bleed as much as I thought I would. Normal 8hr protection with wings was all I needed (not the ultra thin ones) and for pants, I wore PJ pants at home and leggings that covered my belly when I had to wear real pants. I had the silver nitrate patch over my incision for the first week but after that all the underwear I had hurt, even the ones that went up higher. I used a handkerchief folded up between the incision and my underwear.

I stuck with my maternity pants for a while. The main thing was having something that didn't fold or roll into the scar area, that felt awful.

I wore elastic pants, but ones that weren't tight. Super big granny panties that go up to your belly button lol. I used depend over night pads, for the bleeding part. And then I sometimes would put a panty liner on my underwear where my incision was if it was ever goopy or bleeding a little from healing.

I am most comfortable in my maternity leggings and also maternity underwear. I can’t have anything that has a waistband near my incision
