Has anyone had streptococcus group b in their pee? I found out I have it and got prescribed penicillin for it so I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this

🙋‍♀️I tested positive, got a round of antibiotics, and was told I'll be on IV antibiotics through labor and delivery. It's totally common, up to 30% of pregnancies I think!

It’s totally normal. A lot of women have it. They usually give you Penicillin during labor so the baby doesn’t get exposed to it in the birth canal when delivering vaginally. Nothing to stress over.
