What was your period like after your miscarriage?

Just now starting my first period after miscarrying in March. Did you find that your period was heavier than normal? Lighter? Thanks!

I had a D&C at 12 weeks on March 5 and got my first period April 5. It was HORRIBLE. I bled for a week, and it was SO much more blood than normal. Cramps, nauseous- I actually thought I was pregnant before I got my period because my symptoms mimicked pregnancy. It was definitely more intense than my normal 4 day period.

I’m on day 3 right now and so far it’s been normal except for a few small clots this morning. Cramping has been minimal like usual.

I'm sorry for your loss. I miscarried naturally the week of 3/18 and I got my period last Friday,  4 1/2 weeks after. Cant say it was heavier than normal, but it was painful and had some larger clots on CD2 & 3. Today is CD4 and much lighter and no pain.

A bit heavier and really bad cramps for the first one. Since then I’ve been more regular with way fewer symptoms (on my 3rd cycle post Mc)

came exactly 5 weeks later (35 days including the days i was bleeding ) which is within my 30-35 day range .  first day was heavier then normal , lasted 5 days like it always has .
