I was spending the day with my boyfriend and he left his phone unattended for a bit. Sometimes I snatch up his phone to leave him cute messages on his notes app or to send myself pictures.

Today when I was gonna send myself some pictures on Instagram, I saw he had this one girl at the top of his “recent accounts” list. I jokingly asked who it was and he immediately got defensive and said “I don’t know, it puts random accounts there for some reason”.

Now I knew he was bullshitting, because it’s called recent accounts for a reason, and I’m a social media junkie so there’s no fooling me! So I clicked her account and clicked a random picture, of the girl with a male friend. (Lets just call the girl Ava)

I saw that the picture was saved to his gallery so I asked him why he saved it. He said that it was because he knew the guy and he didn’t know the girl. I thought it was sketchy so I looked through his gallery and saw so, so many pictures of Ava. I asked him who she was and he changed his story - “Oh, she’s a friend from high school.”

Her selfies, her pictures with friends, anything with Ava in it was saved to his gallery. Naturally I freaked and asked him why did he have this girl saved all over his phone? He asked me why was I so upset and he said “what, do you just want me to block every single girl on my phone?” Which is not what I had said at all.

Anyways, he took me home, and I was crying the whole way. I just feel so hurt and so lied to. He changed his story about who this girl is THREE times. “She’s nobody idk her - oh she’s a good friend from high school - oh I don’t even talk to her we’re not close” like wtf, make up your mind. Why is she even on his phone??? Idek. Is this cheating to a certain degree, or am I crazy?
