Is this a good way to end a Situationship? 😩

Okay first a lil bg info. I’ve been “dating” this guy for 9 months and everything is great besides a couple things that are really annoying. Basically he’s terrible at texting. We could be in a middle of a convo and he’ll stop replying, or sometimes he won’t reply to my text at all. But text me Goodmorning the following day like nothing’s wrong. And I’ve told him about this and he says that he gets busy and forget to text back. He also says that he’s working on it. Now I’ve mentioned this on multiple occasions, when we first starting talking and recently. But I don’t see how it takes someone almost a year to fix something. However this is not why I’m ending things even though I’ve been patient enough.

Yesterday I had to bring my car to the shop and I asked him for a ride home. He said that if he gets done with whatever he was doing early then he would ( which I could understand) so being that he was busy around the time I asked, I decided to go later and mentioned that to him ( No reply back) Then when I finally went I texted him (No reply back) And after a hour or so I called he didn’t answer 🙄 so I had to find another way home. So this is why I’m ending things. I really hate depending on people so on one of the rare occasions I ask you to do something for me and you don’t come through it changes how I see that person.
