Spoon, no. But she needs her fork with her meals, and she gets so proud of herself when she spears her food. After a while, she gives up and goes back to her fingers. If she doesn't have her fork, though, she gets mad.

I give her a fork and spoon to practice with but it’s usually not used for what it’s supposed to be used for lol or it’s thrown on the floor but it’s there if she wants to try it

Half and half. He can use a fork and spoon but prefers his hands.

Maybe try giving them one and having one yourself. That way they can practice and you can make sure they get some in, if you are worried about that.
My son is fairly proficient at this point, but if he finds certain foods tricky he just abandons the fork and uses his hands. No fear of him going hungry 😂

He will take a preloaded spoon/fork from me and eat. But he cannot get food onto it on his own

With help she will use it but very quickly goes back to fingers for ease or when the spoon/fork ends up on the floor. Depends also what she’s eating.
