A story to bring you hope!🌈🌈🌈

Ma

Hi ladies! I told myself I would come back to share my story once I received my BFP! I found out in January of this year 2019 that I was pregnant with my first baby! We were over the moon! I tested very early and got a faint line and positive digital test just 19 days after the first day of my last period (Dec. 21st) My boobs were sore so I decided to test and it was positive! My doctor doesn’t see patients for their first vaginal ultrasound until 8 weeks, so we waited and waited.. my first appointment was on Valentine’s Day and unfortunately there was no heart beat. We were devasted. The baby was between 7-8 weeks so it should have been visible via vaginal ultrasound. We went back that following Monday to confirm with another ultrasound and unfortunately our sweet angel baby didn’t make it. It was a dark time for me but I began slowly opening up to more and more people about it and found comfort in that. My body didn’t recognize the MC so I had a D&C a week later on Feb. 21st. My doctor said to use protection after that until I had my first period and then I had her blessing. She said it was important to shed a lining before TTC again. She said it would take 4-6 weeks after the procedure to get my period and of course mine took the whole 6 weeks. I started my period April 3rd and 20 days later I just got my BFP this morning!!! I am scared no doubt, but I am soaking up every little bit of this pregnancy and staying positive. I believe in the power of positive healing and am very hopeful that everything will go right this time. In this moment, I am pregnant and that’s what matters, I can’t have fear of the future.

Stay hopeful ladies and I hope you find comfort in this story. I’ve also posted my calendar if you’re a visual person like me. Also, the blog Department of Wandering was a very hopeful read for me! She shares her MC story and shares through each week of her new pregnancy after loss and dealing with anxiety of it all 💕🌈 you aren’t alone in this!
