How long was your period after birth?

Hey moms, with more then 1 child how long was you guys periods after giving birth? & how long did it take to go back to normal?

About 4 weeks for me and the last two being very light. How long it took back to normal I didn’t find out because I got pregnant before I had my period again 🤦🏼‍♀️😆

I got it right at 6 weeks postpartum. It was heavier than usual the first couple times and I was crampy (never really had cramps during periods before), but they were actually regular for a few months after and they never were before. Went back to normal 4 day periods after a couple months.

Postpartum bleeding went on and off for about 10 weeks. I breastfed and didn't get my period until 9 months PP and it was immediately regular!

Postpartum bleeding lasted around 4 weeks with my first.
My first period was heavy for 7 days straight (my normal before was 4 days light period). My period wasn’t normal until 3 months of periods like this. My period came back 6 weeks postpartum and I was breastfeeding. I breastfeed for a year.

My postpartum bleeding lasted two weeks with my first and 8 days with my second. Exclusively breastfed and I turned out to be one of the rare ones who gets their period back right away and like clockwork. 🤷‍♀️

My pp bleeding lasted 4 weeks after my first and 6 weeks with my second. It was really light the last few weeks, though.

Postpartum lasted about 5 weeks. The first 2 weeks were pretty heavy and then it slowly went down to spotting for the 5th week. I didn’t get my period back until 17 months pp due to breastfeeding (I’m still breastfeeding at 31 weeks pregnant). I only had 2 periods before getting pregnant again and they were either super heavy or I had just forgotten how much work it was lol.

I exclusively breastfed both babies and got my period back at 4 months. As for postpartum bleeding I think around 4 weeks.

I breastfed exclusively, and my period came back at about 10 months post partum with each baby (this is my fourth pregnancy).
